How to Play

• Players take turns placing stones (Black goes first)
• Stones of the same color that are adjacent form a group
• Groups need at least one empty adjacent space (liberty) to survive
• Surround opponent groups to capture them
• You cannot make a move that would capture your own group (suicide)
• Ko rule: Cannot immediately recapture a single stone
• Pass when you cannot make a beneficial move
• Game ends when both players pass consecutively
• Winner is determined by controlled territory and captured stones
